Girl Next Door – a pole dance soirée is a monthly production that combines the sensuality of pole dance with the fanciful medium of theater to create a new aesthetic: artistic pole dance. With a cast of over 40 performers, Girl Next Door- a pole dance soirée is the first and longest-running artistic pole dance revue in the nation and features some of the country’s top-ranked pole performers. Exploring the sensual side of the everyday woman, the cast’s professional backgrounds range from electrical engineering to school teacher, publicist to business owner and everything in between.
The Girl Next Door – a pole dance soirée shows will be expanding to various cities around the country and we need YOU to help take it to the next level!
Our Production Team takes pride in the rigor our Internship Program, which is designed to provide live theater production and management experience in fast paced, hands-on environment. Interns will work closely with the departments heads to establish a basic understanding of each integral component of this company.
This is an unpaid internship with the potential of becoming a paid part-time or full-time job (school credit where applicable). We are looking for two interns to assist with production needs for all live shows, including Girl Next Door – a pole dance soiree, La Petite Mort and Hide and Seek. Duties include working with director and production team to prepare for each live show; coordinating the public relations effort; and assisting with staffing and casting. Interns will also coordinate activities between departments; serve as a liaison with outside parties/clients; and contact company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information.
We are looking for detail-oriented, acute problem-solver. Candidate should also have excellent communication and organization skills and be able to receive clear direction under pressure.
• 10-15 hours per week
• Live show dates (various)
• Occasional off-site and/or out of town events
